Warsaw police bust two on meth charges

WARSAW, ILL. -- A domestic disturbance in Warsaw, Illinois led to a methamphetamine arrest of two people.

Police originally arrested 34-year-old Robert S. Land, of Keokuk, for domestic battery Thursday morning. The victim, 30-year-old Emily F. McNeil, of Warsaw was treated for her injuries at Carthage Memorial Hospital.

Further investigation resulted in additional charges for both Land and McNeil including the possession and manufacturing of methamphetamine.

Both remain at the Hancock County Jail with bonds set at $50,000 each.

The Warsaw Police Department was assisted by the Illinois Police Meth Response Team from the Quincy office.
