Guns to computers being stolen from cars in Hannibal

Over the past 8 days, the Hannibal Police Department has taken reports of items ranging from a hand gun to a laptop computer being stolen from unlocked cars.

The thefts have occurred in the 2300 block of Palmyra Road, the 100 block of Central, the 300 block of N. 5th and the 700 block of Cedar Creek.

All of the thefts display the same general pattern.

HPD would like to remind everyone to remove all valuable items from your vehicle and make sure your vehicle is locked at night.
