QUINCY, ILL. -- UPDATE: February 6 at 6:15 a.m.

The first of several seminars to educate the public on Quincy's Working Cash Bond issue is Thursday.

District 8 PTA plans the free seminar at 6:30 p.m. at Central Baptist Church, on North Seventh.

The District's business manager will present the seminar.

Voters will decide the $6.2 million dollar cash bond issue in the March 20 primary election.

You'll be able to learn more about the Quincy School District's controversial working cash bond issue in the coming month.

According to the Quincy Herald Whig, a PTA organization and the League of Women Voters of Adams County have expressed interest in possibly hosting separate forums in the near future to talk about both sides of the issue.

The issue goes to voters in the March 20 primary election.
