Two search warrants served Tuesday led to the arrests of seven Quincy residents on methamphetamine charges.

The first search warrant at 637 College St. resulted in the arrest of Shawn D. Steele, 40, and Tammy Lynn Cothern, 38.

Police found numerous materials used to make methamphetamine and waste related to its production, according to a press release from the Quincy Police Department.

Cothern faces charges of methamphetamine related child endangerment and use of property for methamphetamine production.

Steele faces charges for aggravated unlawful participation in methamphetamine production.

He was scheduled to appear in court that same day on a separate methamphetamine charge.

The second warrant served at a residence at 326 South 10th St. led to five additional arrests.

Officers found a number of items used to manufacture the drug and at least one "one-pot" methamphetamine cook.

Those arrested include:

Todd A. Boyd, 46
Andrew S. DeLonjay, 28
Michael K. Bradley, 46
Kevin L. Cookson, 43
Jill M. Favre, 30

Boyd, DeLonjay, Bradley, and Cookson face additional charges of aggravated unlawful participation in methamphetamine production.

Favre was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine precursors.

DeLonjay was already on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections for a 2010 methamphetamine lab located at the same address, the QPD said.

Investigators said additional arrests could be made related to the ongoing investigation.

QPD, West Central Illinois Task Force and the Illinois State Police with assistance from the Adams County Sheriff's Office participated in the investigation
