Tantrum Hair Salon in Macomb held a fundraiser in honor of Remington Neeley.

During the Sunday fundraiser, all haircuts were free from noon to 6 p.m. as long as participants made a donation.

They had almost one hundred people through the door and four stylists on hand.

The day raised about 25 hundred dollars

The money will help pay for any of Neeley's funeral expenses.

Neeley recently lost her life in a car accident where the driver lost control due to the snow.

The car became airborne, left the roadway and struck a grain bin.

The driver Kasarah Riden, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria with major injuries.

Both occupants were trapped in the vehicle and had to be removed by firefighters.

If you are interested in donating to the memorial fund you can contact Citizen National Bank in Macomb at (309) 833-4551.
