Trial date set for woman accused of sex with child, dog

MACON, MO. -- A trial date is now set for a Macon County, Mo. woman accused of having sexual relations with a minor and family dog.

Christina Spaid, 34, of Macon faces numerous charges, including statutory sodomy; use of a child in a sexual performance; endangering the welfare of a child; and unlawful sex with an animal.

Spaid appeared in court Wednesday afternoon where she learned that her trial is scheduled for July 19 and 20 before Macon County Judge Frederick Tucker.

A pre-trial hearing is also scheduled for July 11.

Spaid is accused of sexual activity with a blood relative under the age of 17, as well as sexual activity involving the family dog, all while her husband, Billie Spaid, watched.
