QUINCY, ILL. -- Parents were alerted through the School Reach automated phone system Sunday that another threatening note was found late Friday at Quincy Junior High School.

Quincy Public Schools Superintendent Lonny Lemon says the note, "follows the same pattern in a written form and was left in a restroom." Lemon said the latest threat should emphasize to parents to speak to their children and say, "this isn't fun for anyone."

The automated message came from Principal Diane Glaub.

Monday the school will be back on heightened security. Students should expect their book bags to be checked at the entrances.

Authorities have found at least four separate threatening notes inside Quincy Junior High School in the last two weeks.
