Quincy soldier returns home from Afghanistan

QUINCY, ILL. -- Cpl. Ryan Keller arrived home Tuesday afternoon in Quincy after his year-long deployment in Afghanistan.

Keller, with the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team out of Oklahoma, was stationed at a base in Mehtar Lam, Afghanistan. 

Keller's homecoming was one of about 300 in the last week from his combat team stationed in both Afghanistan and Kuwait. Fourteen soldiers within the 45th died in combat, according to News 9 out of Oklahoma City.
