HANNIBAL, MO. -- Hannibal's water main project has moved to South Main Street.

Crews have been replacing 100-year-old water pipes down Main Street right now with construction moving to the 100th block of South Main Street near the B and B Theatre.

Despite construction in front of stores, all downtown businesses are open to customers.

Meanwhile, the city of Hannibal will begin a sidewalk renovation project to run in conjunction with a portion of the water project.

Everything, from the pipes to the sidewalks should be completed this summer.
