PIKE COUNTY, MO. -- A pre-trial hearing for a 20-year-old murder case is scheduled for Monday.

59-year-old Douglas Howery is accused of killing his wife and hiding her body on their Pike County, Missouri farm.

Betty Howery was last seen in February of 1992.

Her whereabouts were unknown until 4-years-ago when investigators found what they thought were her remains on the couple's farm.

Douglas Howery was arrested in 2009.

The case was moved to Audrain County on a change of venue.

Howery could get either life in prison or the death penalty if convicted.
