Due to increasing need, the Quincy Salvation Army says it will open its food pantry an extra day each month

Due to increasing need, the Quincy Salvation Army says it will open its food pantry an extra day each month.

Beginning this Saturday, May 5, the pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon.

The new hours will be in effect for the first Saturday of every month.

Food is free to those who bring a photo ID and meet application requirements.
