HANNIBAL, MO. -- It looks like what Hannibal residents know as the Humpty Dumpty bridge on Lindell Avenue will be replaced.

The Hannibal City Council has approved a measure to replace the old bridge.

The plan is to replace the old bridge with a culvert type design and structure.

Current steel supports under the bridge are rusting and could pose a safety hazard.

It's not known how long the project will take.
