MONROE CITY, MO. -- Lots of history and fun is set for this weekend at the Salt River Expo.
Beginning Friday you can check out reenactment camps, enjoy food and lots of entertainment.
The event runs May 18, 19, and 20 at the Warren See South Spillway Area just below Cannon Dam at Mark Twain Lake.

Friday, May 18
5 p.m. – General admission; food vendors on site
6-9 p.m. – Re-enactor camps open; arena performances; blackpowder demonstrations and weapons exhibits; R/C (radio-controlled) aircraft and vehicle displays
7 p.m. – "You Can't Do That On A Lawn Mower"
9 p.m. – Music by North Ely Opry
Saturday, May 19
7-9 a.m. – Re-enactors’ breakfast
8 a.m. – Grounds open
9 a.m. – Period displays open and re-enactments begin; R/C (radio-controlled) aircraft demonstrations
10-2 p.m. – Red Cross Bloodmobile
10 a.m. – Musical entertainment begins
11:45 a.m. – Meet Tom & Becky
12 noon – Presentation of Colors
12 noon – National Anthem by Judge Rachel Bringer & Elizabeth Trower
2 p.m. – Draft Horse Pull
7 p.m. – Sanctioned garden tractor pull
Sunday, May 20
10 a.m. – “Cowboy Church” Rev. Stan Henderson
12 noon – Vintage (1890’s) baseball – St. Louis Brownstockings vs Hannibal Nationals
12 noon – Cruise In on Spillway parking lot
