The Quincy Police Department wants to warn local businesses about a forgery scam making its way through Quincy.
QUINCY, ILL. --
Police are looking for 22-year-old Tatanisha N Byas.
Her last known address was Chicago and Joplin, Missouri.
She has two accomplices.
A white male in his 20s or 30s and a black female in her 20s or 30s.
They're accused of making checks using local business' names, addresses and account numbers.
The checks were cashed earlier this month at local banks.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Quincy Crimestoppers at (217) 228-4474
