HANNIBAL, MO. -- A daily tradition turned into a close call for workers at a local Dairy Queen.
Check out this story from the Hannibal Courier Post.
Thursday a Hannibal couple pulled up to the local Dairy Queen when the driver's foot slid off the pedal. The car lurched into the restaurant window, leaving a gaping hole in the building.

An employee standing near the window was understandably shaken but no one was hurt.
Apparently the customers were every day regulars, so they also will have to find a new place for ice cream.
