The Pike County State's Attorney is expected to file formal charges against a Baylis firefighter accused of setting a mobile home on fire.

Michael D. Rohn, 20, was arrested Sunday after firefighters and police were dispatched shortly before 2:30 p.m. to 210 Cedar St. in Baylis for a burning trailer.

Rohn was arrested following an investigation by the Pike County Sheriff's Department and the Illinois State Fire Marshal. He is currently being held at the Pike County Jail pending a 9 a.m. bond hearing Thursday.

Rohn has been a member of the Baylis Fire Department for two months and was immediately relieved of his duties upon his arrest.

No one was injured in the fire. The investigation is ongoing.

State's Attorney Frank McCartney said he is reviewing the charges Monday.
