Quincy motorcycle crash leaves man with injuries

QUINCY, ILL. -- A Camp Point man is recovering after wrecking his motorcycle Thursday night.

Just before eleven, 42-year-old Richard G. Brown lost control of his 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle on South 24th Street in Quincy.

He was taken to Blessing Hospital with serious injuries, although he is no longer listed as a patient there.

Brown was also cited for driving under the influence.

At the time of the crash, Brown was not wearing a helmet.
