TRI-STATES -- Parents in Missouri and Iowa will save big money on back to school shopping this weekend.

Both states hold their annual sales tax holidays beginning this Friday.

Most back to school items will be exempt from state sales taxes, though local sales taxes may still be in effect.

Iowa's sales tax holiday ends Saturday. Click here for more information.

In Missouri, it continues through Sunday. Click here for more information.
