Multiple drug related charges leveled
LEWIS CO., MO. -- Eleven people have been arrested in Lewis County Missouri for their alleged participation in methamphetamine making and distribution.
All eleven were indicted on federal methamphetamine charges as a result of the investigation.
According to information from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Missouri, the suspects were indicted by a federal grand jury in June on a number of charges from methamphetamine making to distribution.
On Tuesday officers from the Lewis County Sheriff's Department and the Northeast Missouri Drug Task force arrested the following people:
Felicia Lea Shults, 34, LaGrange, Mo.;
Kevin Lee Shults, 56, Ewing, Mo.;
Kitty Kay Shults, 58, Ewing, Mo.;
Billie J. Bryan, 40, Palmyra, Mo.;
Sean Michael Bryan, 34, Palmyra, Mo.;
Robert E. Cookson, 40, Ill.;
Stacy Francis Derecskey, 25, Canton, Mo.;
Timothy Howard Vonholt, 51, Quincy, Ill.;
Robert Leroy McKim, Jr. 35, LaGrange, Mo.;
Christopher C. Robbins, 34, LaBelle, Mo.; and
Erick Dennis Winship, 31, LaGrange, Mo.
All eleven of the alleged suspects appeared in a federal court on Tuesday.
If convicted each drug charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and/or a fine up to $250,000.
