HANNIBAL, MO. -- Six boaters were lucky Friday night after a boat overturned on the Mississippi.

Missouri state highway patrol and the Hannibal fire department rescued the boaters near the Hannibal riverfront.

According to Assistant fire chief Frame, there were no injuries with the accident.

No other boats were involved.

Highway patrol called the incident an improper distribution of weight. The boat was recovered.
