Park District officials say this dock set up has turned potential renters off because they are unable to use a lift.

QUINCY, ILL. -- The Quincy Park District is going out with the old and in with the new at the Art Keller Marina.
The district is replacing two of its docks, E and F with one large one.
The new dock will house bigger single slips, where boats to park.
It will also include a shore side ramp, making the dock A-D-A accessible.
The current docks date back to the 1960's and has two boats per slip.
Park District officials say that set up has turned potential renters off because they are unable to use a lift.
A feature the new dock will allow.
"I believe it'll be very popular," Ed Seger, Quincy Park District Director, said. "These docks will have , obviously a better electrical outlets, they'll be wider, newer and there also of a size that fits"
The project is estimated to cost 340 thousand dollars.
The Park District is funding the new dock by a revenue bond, the Riverfront Development fund and Marina cash reserves.
The new dock is expected to complete by next spring.
