Beardstown company to close, 50 lose jobs

BEARDSTOWN, ILL. -- A Beardstown company is closing its doors.

According to the Cass County Star Gazette, Ansell Hawkeye plans to close its production operations in Beardstown by October.

It opened operations back in 1999, making leather gloves for the military and retail markets.
