AUDRAIN CO., MO. -- It's life in prison for the Hannibal man convicted of murdering his fiance just days before they walked down the aisle.

That's the sentence handed down to Calvin Duane Pettey in an Audrain County courtroom Monday.

Earlier this summer, an Audrain county jury found Pettey guilty of shooting Sandy Fugate in the home they shared back in 2010.

Pettey will spend the rest of his natural life in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
