Several injured in Illini West crash identified

CARTHAGE, ILL. -- Police in Carthage released more information about several people injured in a Friday night crash.

Investigators originally said eight people were injured in the Illni West High School parking lot when 71-year-old Beverly Lovell lost control of her van. She complained of shortness of breath before the crash.

Stacy Lee, 50, of La Harpe remains in a Peoria hospital where she is being treated for fractures to her ribs and pelvis and bruising to her lungs and kidneys.

Kyle Huss, 19, of Dallas City, was treated and released from Ft. Madison Community Hospital with a separated shoulder.

Laurie Branham, 49, of Pittsfield was treated and released at Blessing Hospital for a fractured toe.

Tyler Howe, 19, of Carthage was not injured.

The crash investigation continues.
