The power is back on for Ameren customers in Quincy.

According to the Ameren website, a total of 2,111 customers in the zip code 62301 were without power during the outage. There are a total of 19,949 customers in that area.

Crews were dispatched immediately, however, we only just learned that the outage was caused by wire damage.
