TAYLOR, MO. -- There were two unrelated single vehicle crashes near the Highway 24/61 interchange Friday afternoon.

One of the incidents involved a tractor trailer and the other involved a Penske truck.

The Penske truck came to rest on its side, but there were no injuries in either crash.

Crews are still working on cleaning up the Penske truck.

Fortunately, traffic was not impacted on Highway 61 as both crashes were in the median.

The tractor trailer was already removed by the time KHQA arrived on the scene.

Missouri State Highway Patrol and Marion County Sheriff's Department responded.

Please use caution when driving in the rain and be sure to give yourself more time to react when driving on wet surfaces.
