Early morning Keokuk house fire sends one to the hospital

KEOKUK, IOWA -- A Keokuk family is without a home after an early morning fire gutted their home Saturday.

Keokuk fire crews responded to the fire at 1823 Franklin St.

KHQA confirmed one person was taken to the hospital.

The cause of the fire in unknown at this time, but the fire department says the home is a total loss.
