All eyes will be on President Barack Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney on debate night tonight.

The Wednesday night debate at the University of Denver in Colorado is the first of three Presidential debates scheduled for October and it takes place from 8-9:30 p.m. CST.

Topics to be discussed include the economy, health care, the role of government and finally governing. Moderator and PBS Newshour Executive Editor Jim Lehrer was responsible for the selection of the debate topics.

Both sides have been hard at work preparing for the debates with good reason as more and more voters will simultaneously watch and take to the web and social media for coverage and to check the facts.

Twitter users can follow us at @KHQA and follow hashtags and mentions such as #debates, #factcheck, @MittRomney, and @BarackObama. If you are a Facebook user, join in the discussion on KHQA's Facebook page tonight during the debate. For multimedia users, we will also be live streaming the debate on our website here.

KHQA ABC and KHQA CBS will air tonight's debate. Here is a link to KHQA's Programming Guide.

We want to know what YOU think. Is there a certain topic you will be waiting for the candidates to discuss? Is there a topic you're afraid won't be touched upon? Share your thoughts with us below or visit our Facebook page here.
