Weekend brawl suspect makes bond

MACOMB, ILL. -- A Macomb man has been arrested for his part in a large fight that involved a stabbing over the weekend.

Robert Anderson, 21, faces aggravated battery and mob action charges in connection with a widespread fight near Western Illinois University.

Police responded to the 200 block of University Drive to find several people fighting, including one man who had been stabbed in the chest and arms during one numerous altercations.

Although Anderson was arrested for his alleged involvement, police are unsure if he stabbed the wounded man.

Anderson posted $7,500 bond a was released from the McDonough County Jail.
