ADAMS COUNTY, ILL. -- Can Adams County afford a sixth ambulance?

That was one question discussed this week at the Adams County Ambulance Service meeting.

The Quincy Herald Whig reports the Ambulance Service will finish this fiscal year $140,000 in the red.

Director Paul Davis said eliminating the sixth ambulance, which was added in 2010, would save about $360,000.
