QUINCY, ILL. -- A Quincy woman is thankful for a Good Samaritan.

After first reporting about Connie Ward's missing Halloween decorations, a woman at a fast food restaurant in Quincy overheard boys arguing in the parking lot Tuesday night about whether to return the decorations or not.

The woman had heard about the story through KHQA's Facebook page.

The woman walked over to the boys and told them that she would return the decorations to the owner no questions asked.

If not, she told the youth that she would call authorities.

The boys conceded, and the decorations have been safely returned to Ward's home.
