Quincy man accused of stealing gas from Allied trucks

QUINCY, ILL. -- A Quincy man was arrested this morning for allegedly trying to steal gasoline.

Quincy police responded to a call of a suspicious person at the storage facility on Wisman Lane.

When officers arrived the suspect fled into the woods. 

Kaleb Purcell of Quincy was arrested after siphoning gas from Allied Trucks at the location.

He was charged with theft, trespassing.

Purcell was released on a cash bond and will be back in court on December 20th.
