QUINCY, ILL. -- A two vehicle accident shut down traffic on the Memorial Bridge Wednesday night just around 9 p.m.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says one car was trying to pass another when it lost control and hit the car it was passing.

The driver and passenger in the car that was being passed were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The other driver wasn't hurt.
