ILLINOIS (AP) -- Illinois Governor Pat Quinn's latest effort to raise awareness about the need for pension reform is getting getting mixed reviews.

This weekend Quinn launched a website that gives a short overview of the history of the American pension system and summarizes some of the problems with it.

But what is really getting a lot of attention, is a carton figure of a snake that appears near the end of the almost 4 minute video called "Squeezy the Pension Python."

Comments on Facebook and Twitter have run the gamut from "silly" to "savvy."

One expert says the video could work in the Governor's favor, but he will need to act quickly to capitalize on it.

At least one lawmaker ,who has worked on the pension issue, says the presentation should be more serious.
