HAMILTON, ILL. -- In the spring, Hamilton, Illinois will have a new mayor.

Tri-States Public Radio reports Mayor Steve Woodruff is not running for re-election.

Woodruff says he wants to focus more time on being a husband and father.

Woodruff is currently in his second term.

So far, two men have taken out nominating petitions to run for mayor: Steve Lowman and former Hamilton Mayor Dave Cornelius.
