One injured in car vs. school bus crash

BLUFFS, ILL. -- No children were hurt in a school bus crash Thursday in Scott County, Ill.

Illinois State Police say Deborah Mills, of Bluffs was traveling west on Naples Road when she crashed into the back of a Bluffs School District bus in the process of dropping off students.

The bus' stop lights and signs were activated at the time.

While the children were safe, Mills was taken to Passavant Area Hospital for her injuries.

She's been cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
