Lee County residents could soon see a county-wide transit system.

According to Tri-States Public Radio, the Central Point of Coordination has asked the Board of Supervisors to consider adding 29 thousand dollars to next year's budget to add the service.

The Supervisors appeared receptive to the idea.

There would be a per-ride fee for passengers.
