Car crash in Keokuk sends three to the hospital

KEOKUK, IOWA -- A two-vehicle crash in Keokuk sent three people to the Keokuk Area Hospital Saturday evening.

Keokuk police, fire and EMS crews responded to the intersection of Highway 218 and the 61 bypass just after 10 p.m.

Firefighters helped extricate one of the drivers, a teenager, from a vehicle.

It is unknown the extent of the injuries at this time.
