MACOMB, ILL. -- The Illinois Department of Transportation has scheduled an public Open House to present the proposed improvement for the IL 336 NW Macomb Bypass Grading Contract and to discuss temporary road closures that will occur during the construction project.

Anyone that has questions or an interest in the project can stop Macomb City Hall at 232 East Jackson Street any time between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Open House will be very informal.

The proposed improvements include grading and earthwork for proposed IL 336 from US 136 to US 67, reconstruction of CH 14 (1350N) just west of 900E and culvert replacements along 950E, CH 20, and 1100E.

IDOT wants your feedback and comments about the proposed improvement and road closures.

Right-of-way will be required from several properties for the proposed improvements.

Exhibits, drawings and aerial photos will be available for review at the Tuesday night Open House. In addition, department staff will be available to answer questions. All written correspondence regarding this project can be submitted at the meeting or mailed to IDOT at the following address:
