Driver stopped by crashing into tree

QUINCY, ILL. -- Three vehicles were damaged Monday night by a driver who eventually crashed into a tree on State street.

Quincy police report Jeremy Yadon was northbound on 12th Street when he struck two parked cars in the 600 block of South 12th Street. Yadon continued driving and turned eastbound onto State Street. That's when Yadon reportedly drove off the roadway and struck two trees in the 1300 block of State Street.  

A 22-month-old child was also in the vehicle.

Quincy police report the child was transported to Blessing Hospital, where he was treated and released.

Police arrested Jeremy Yadon for aggravated driving under the influence, no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured vehicle, improper lane usage and failure to give information after striking a parked car. Yadon was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
