Guide points out recalled toys and food items
(AP) -- Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan is giving a helping hand to parents during this Christmas shopping season.
Her office has released its annual Safe Shopping Guide.
In it parents can find details about recalled products and toys and household items that could pose a danger to children.
New to the guide this year is a section on food safety for people who have food allergies.
The guide is available on the Attorney General's website or by mail by calling the Attorney General's Recall Hotline at 1-888-414-7678.
