QUINCY, ILL. -- We still do not know who will be the next Quincy Public School Superintendent.

Quincy public school board members met Saturday morning to discuss what the next step would be.

According to school board president Bill Daniels, they are unsure of a time frame when a new superintendent will step in.

"The purpose of this meeting is to have further discussions about a superintendent and interim superintendent. So today is just a board discussion. We are going to take no action when we come out of executive session today," Daniels explained.

The contract for Interim superintendent Cal Lee will expire at the end of January.
