WEST QUINCY, ILL. -- Congressman Sam Graves toured a local manufacturing company in West Quincy with election season less than a month away. Knapheide Equipment Company hosted the lunch and tour of their facilities Monday.
In a recent redistricting, Northeast Missouri was added to the sixth congressional district, it now includes most of northern Missouri. Graves represents the sixth congressional district.
He thought holding Monday afternoon's meeting would be a good way to hear some of the issues he has to face in the new area of the district.
The meeting was not opened to the public. A number of employees from the drainage district as well as local farmers attended to voice their concerns.
