The first bundle of joy in 2013 arrived at Blessing Hospital at 9:51 p.m. Wednesday, January 2.
Tanner Bryant Finton was born to Tasha and Steve Finton of Carthage.
Tanner weighed seven pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long and was delivered by Dr. Gina Dietrich of Quincy Medical Group.
Two brothers Coy and Lane; grandparents John Wilson of Hamilton, Carla Mathewson of Carthage and Helen and Bobby Finton of Warsaw and the happy parents welcomed Tanner into the world.
Tanner and his family received gifts from nearly 40 area merchants and organizations.
