FT. MADISON, IOWA -- Reports of strong chemical odors coming from a Fort Madison home led police to 1201 Ave. G where four individuals were later arrested on felony and misdemeanor drug charges.
Nicholas Ryan Mullins, 28, and Sarah Lorraine Gould, 24, both residents of 1201 Ave. G, were arrested and charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine in excess of five grams within 1,000 feet of a school second or subsequent offence, maintaining a drug house and possession of paraphernalia. They each face up to 77 years and 30 days in a state correctional facility if convicted.
Joseph Montgomery Walte, 30, of 2330 Ave. L and Jennifer Rae Eid, 25, of 1601 Ave. L were also arrested. Walte and Eid are charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine in excess of 5 grams within 1,000 feet of a school second or subsequent offense. Both face up to 75 years in a state correctional facility if convicted.
A search warrant was executed on at the residence and items used to manufacture methamphetamine were located in the search.
The Lee County Attorney’s Office and the Ft. Madison Police Dept. assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.
