KEOKUK, IOWA -- The former Keokuk Middle School building is no longer for sale.

This April, you can expect to see a McDonald's in its place.

Hamilton residents Steve and Dena Mast and their family broke ground on the project last week.

They already own the McDonald's at the 20th and Main location in town.

McDonald's staff will welcome customers through a double drive-in ... with entrances off Main, 14th and 15th streets.

Plue Construction out of St. Louis is handling the project, but local companies are also on site.

If you're interested in a job, you can apply in person at the old McDonald's or online at http://www.mcdonalds.com.
