HARDIN COUNTY, KEN. -- The Ursa soldier accused of killing his estranged wife and another woman more than four years ago will face court martial May 1.

That's according to Clarksville online.

Brent Burke is accused of shooting his wife Tracy Burke and and her former mother-in-law more than four years ago in Kentucky.

You'll recall after four mistrials, the civilian criminal case against him was closed last year when a judge dismissed the murder charges without prejudice.

Now the Army has charged him with murder, burglary and conduct unbecoming to an officer. His court martial was scheduled for February but was re-scheduled for May.

Burke is also a defendant in a wrongful death lawsuit brought by Tracy Burke's family.

If convicted, Burke could face the death penalty.
