QUINCY, ILL. -- The Quincy Gems are bringing you the opportunity to support our troops, while enjoying one of America's favorite games. It is all part of the Red, White and Blue Tour coming to the Quincy University Stadium.
The U.S. Military All-Stars are a barnstorming team that have played baseball teams from around the United States including the Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs and many more. They are a group of players that represent all branches of the armed forces and first responders.
Now they are making their way to Quincy, Illinois to take on the Quincy Gems on Monday, July 2 at 6 p.m.
At Monday's game, local first responders will be recognized during a special ceremony and a fireworks display will blast off at dusk.
KHQA is excited to give you the chance to win free tickets to the Gems vs. U.S. Military All-Stars game. We are giving away 50 pairs of tickets.
