A famous American Songbird made her way into America's Hometown to stump for her presidential pick.

Carole King visited the Hannibal's Democratic Headquarters to endorce Barack Obama and make calls to local constituents.  She's the co-writer of such 60's tunes such as 'Will you love me tomorrow' and 'Loco-Motion.'

Do you think celebrities such as yourself make a difference in a campaign like this?

King said, "I think my celebrity gets you in the door but after that all citizens in America come together. We're all in this together and I think you can identify as a Democrat or a Republican but when you go into that voting booth you have to identify as an American."

King says Obama is the steady leader we need during these troubled times.

She also encourages Republicans who are upset with President Bush to send a message to the Party by voting Democrat this year.
