The weekend the clock goes back one hour.

The official time change is early Sunday morning at about two a-m.

This is also a good time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

Area fire departments recommend changing the batteries about every six months when the clock either springs forward or falls back.
